Facility Operations
Network
- CFR transition to B725 is again underway and accelerating after delays from MINSAFE
- GP Lustre MDS servers being delivered next week
- FY2020 RHIC/ATLAS compute racks being delivered next week
- 2 x 14 TB JBOD storage purchases are being procured
- New monitoring servers expected before end of FY 2020
- New CSI storage, network and tape expected before end of FY 2020
Storage
- Guangwei has left HPSS group
- New HPSS library will be fibre-attached SCSI we need to prepare HPSS core server (ETA 10/2020)
- dCache new status page with two tests pool status and dcdoor status is in grafana monitoring
- dCache checksum improvements for staging to HPSS
- may need a periodic cleanse for PHENIX dCache no error handling of corrupt files / bad copies
