Oxford has sourced an active load. This will be loaned to RAL (where most of the test set-ups are) and is likely to be utilised to push the MPW2 (SLDO) chips to their limits (after initial testing confirming functionality within design specs).
Schematics of the FIBs has started and interconnection cabling with CBs is starting to be specified.
See attached files.
Schematics for the CBs should be started soon.
Active components are TBD, but I/O and connectors can begin.
RDO QC documentation drafting has begun.
Initial grounding scheme considerations are being prepared for the Oxford Workfest (next week).
bPOL update
Problems with the bPOL12V is confirmed to be a design issue.
Enabling the bPOL12V at power-on prevents it getting into the problematic state.
Do not apply power to the bPOL12V while it is disabled!
Fault lies with the level shifter (matched transistor become mismatched under irradiation, behaviour falls out of tolerance window when cold).
