Meeting minutes:
1, ECCE integrated detector simulation production summary by Cameron (LANL)
Detailed summary of the simulation production samples and how to access. Welcome inputs on the tracking performance evaluation.
There is the next ECCE simulation workshop schedule on July 8, see indico page below:
https://indico.bnl.gov/event/12245/
2, Heavy flavor physics study updates and recent tracking performance studies by Xuan (LANL)
Xuan reported the updated HF studies based on the tracking performance for a integrated silicon vertex/tracking system (including estimated service parts) (see details in https://indico.bnl.gov/event/11659/contributions/50175/attachments/34926/56788/LANL_FST_06042021.pdf). Additional topologic cuts suggested before has been implemented to enhance the signal/background ratio. The updated tracking performance provides good capability for HF reconstruction and precise hadron ReA measurements.
Initial results of the tracking momentum resolutions in pseudorapidity bins (0, 1), (1, 2), (2, 3.5) have been presented using both single pion and SIDIS high Q2 events. Need to cross check the stat. uncertainty extrapolation and distributions in the more forward region.
3,
Rey presented the updated
4, ECCE gas tracker simulation studies by Sourav (Vanderbilt Univ.)
Sorry, I miss the discussion as I joined another local meeting. Please add information here.
5, Tracking performance study by Sebastian (ISU)
Sebastian presented the tracking performance including kinematic coverage for truth, reco tracks and tracking efficiency using the SIDIS high Q2 events. Will study the impacts on the PID.
We also discussed about implementing different detector options and evaluate the corresponding performance. Volunteers to work on this are very welcome.
