[RBRC seminar] Discovering the QCD critical point with dynamical fluctuations

by Marlene Nahrgang (Subatech)

US/Eastern
Description

In this talk I will discuss the current theoretical efforts to model the dynamical fluctuations near the (high-energy) QCD critical point. Dynamical modeling is of importance in order to describe fluctuations in a heavy-ion collisions dynamically. I will put a special emphasis on the development of event-by-event fluctuating dissipative fluid dynamics and present results of the first approaches to its implementation.
