Michael opened by reviewing previous action items, most are started, see below
In particular Yulia Furuletova with give a presentation to the exclusive group Thursday July 8th at 8.30am EDT.
Or reached out to Israeli groups. They are interested but busy at the moment.
Carlos Munoz sent cost estimated for the Roman Pots, see slides.
Michael then presented the new layout of IP8 from the project office. Looks nice.
There was also a discussion on the coordinate system. It is a right handed system where Z+ is opposite to the electron beam,
Y+ is towards the sky and X+ is towards the center of the ring.
Note that the interaction point at IP6 is at Z=0, y=0, x = 0.7m or so, see slides on coordinates.
This implies that all forward/backward detectors be rotated 180 degrees. It is probably best to wait for Bill to do this.
The project has also moved the interaction point 05m at IP6. This was a lot of work.
Michael discussed cooling with Constantin Lorzidos but it seems best to discuss with CMS Roman Pot group.
Michael has reached out to CMS - PPS group about cooling.
Shema didn't have time for ZDC work last week but she hope to get back to it this week. Quan is still working to understand B0 in Fun4All.
