Description

The first step for studying continuum Quantum Field Theories (QFTs) using a quantum computer involves regularizing the theory using discrete qubits. This type of regularization, which we call qubit regularization, essentially involves constructing a condensed matter system with a quantum critical point where the desired QFT emerges. In this talk we explain how one can construct qubit regularized QFTs for simple theories, including some asymptotically free QFTs.
