Cameron presented the latest tracking detector geometry and material budget updates. The service parts such as cooling, support structure, cables have been implemented in the Fun4All as well. Further inputs on the service part dimensions have been discussed in the meeting. The simulation team will implement the requested changes.
When the 2nd simulation production starts, we look forward to see contributions about
1, tracking performance with different detector configuration depends on the detector/physics interests.
2, tracking performance evaluation and material budget scan.
3, compare the tracking performance between the 1st and 2nd simulation production.
Note: the tracking momentum resolution depends on whether the tracking fitting includes the vertex or not. Could check the tracking momentum resolution with or without displaced vertex.
