Description

The hints of Lepton Flavor Universality violation observed in semi-leptonic B decays are among the most interesting results reported by experiments in the last years. In this talk, I will discuss possible New Physics explanations of these phenomena, which generically imply large effects also in other observables, both at low and high energy. In particular, I will focus on a combined explanation involving the vector leptoquark, summarize its experimental signatures and discuss a possible UV completion featuring flavor-non-universal gauge interactions.
