Description

Also in small seminar room.

Abstract:

Recently, the techniques for efficient computation of scattering amplitudes in quantum field theory have been successfully applied to the solution of the two-body problem in the post-Minkowskian approximation of general relativity. In this talk, I will review diverse approaches to obtaining scattering amplitudes of particles with spin, and their connection with the description of binaries of spinning black holes and other compact objects.
