Recent results from the NOvA neutrino oscillation experiment

Abstract:

The NOvA experiment has been recording data in the muon neutrino and muon antineutrino NuMI beams at Fermilab since 2014. In this talk I will introduce the principles of the experiment, the working of the detector, and present the recent neutrino oscillation measurements. These measurements are improving our knowledge of the PMNS neutrino mixing matrix and enabling searches for new physics in neutrino oscillations.
