MPGD barrel layer simulations by Stephen:

Stephen setup single pion simulation in the Fun4All framework and focus on tracking performance in -0.5<eta<0.5 with different dead layer combinations for dead MPGD layer, dead AC-LGAD layer and both layers dead. In addition to this, he also compared the tracking performance with one dead MAPS layer from layer 1 to 5. If the 5th MAPS is dead, the AC-LGAD layer will play an important role to keep the tracking momentum resolution as desired.

Near-term plan for upcoming meetings:

As there are conflicts with Nicolas's schedule, we will move his talk to the next EPIC tracking WG meeting.

We are working on the 2023 January EPIC collaboration tracking WG agenda (https://indico.bnl.gov/event/17621/). Due to the 1 hour duration limitation, the number of talks will be limited. And talks to be scheduled will summarize latest results from different groups/colleagues and we will reach out to speaker candidates.

A notification will be sent early next week to see whether we will meet on Dec. 22. If the agenda is light, we will cancel the meeting and we will meet on Jan. 5.
