The minutes of the Collaboration Council meeting on April 21, 2023 were adopted and added to that meeting’s indico page.

Representatives of the 11 institutions petitioning to join the collaboration presented their plans as posted and were available for subsequent discussion.

The closed session resulted in consensus to vote electronically on the admission of each of the 11 institutions (for/against/abstain).  The suggestion was made to record future presentations by representatives from institutions petitioning the join ePIC (we will revisit this point in the future when new institutions petition to join).

No other business was brought up and the meeting was adjourned.

Electronic voting was opened on June 30 and concluded on Tuesday, July 11 at 5pm ET.  136 valid votes were cast by that time.  This satisfies the required quorum.  Well over 116 votes (a 2/3 majority) were cast in favor of admission for each of the institutions.

The Collaboration Council has thus admitted the University of Tokyo, The Ohio State University, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Yonsei University, Gangneung-Wonju National University, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Oklahoma State University, the University of Seoul, the University of Liverpool, Sungyunkwan University, and Hanyang University to the ePIC Collaboration.
