13:30 → 14:00 Challenges in the phenomenology of GPDs

Abstract: The phenomenological extraction of GPDs is an extremely ambitious goal when taking into account the dimensionality and number of these distributions as well as the indirect access provided by the most studied experimental processes.
I will highlight where model assumptions are necessary at the current stage to perform these extractions, and what difference a larger kinematic coverage as well as more diversified measurements can offer. I will in particular present a modeling strategy at small skewness and discuss its relevance at the EIC.
