Description

eic-projdet-tofpid-l@lists.bnl.gov

    • 10:30 10:50
      news and updates 20m
Speakers: Satoshi Yano (Hiroshima University), Zhangbu Xu (Kent State University)
    • 10:50 11:10
Service on both ends of BTOF (can VTRx+ readout multiple staves on one side?) 20m

In the spreadsheet: I wrote "288 RDO with FPGA and Fibre links, mounted near the end of BTOF from both sides at z=+/-120cm (TBD)"

There is no explicit mention about locations of cooling manifolds but we did indicate in the spreadsheet 144x2 Al cooling pipes between cooling manifolds and detector, and 4x2 Stainless steel cooling tubes between cooling manifold and cooling system. The factor of 2 could be interpreted as two sides

A slide I presented at the TIC meeting on 5/22/2023 also clearly indicated TOF services are from both sides. This was the time when the project asked the detector subsystems to provide inputs for integration, and the TIC meeting on 5/22 was specifically to discuss the PID integration status.

Speakers: Zhenyu Ye (University of Illinois at Chicago), Zhenyu Ye (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory)
    • 11:10 11:30
Updates on electronics (VTRx+ and other items?) 20m
Speakers: Dr Tonko Ljubicic (Rice University), Tonko Ljubicic (Rice University), Prof. Wei Li (Rice University)
    • 11:30 11:50
readout setup and test at BNL? 20m
Speakers: Alexander Jentsch (Brookhaven National Laboratory), Dr Ashik Ikbal (Kent State University), Prithwish Tribedy (BNL)
    • 11:50 12:10
      Cooling service to BTOF 20m

is long cooling pipe and temperature gradient an issue?

It was mentioned many times in the past.

Speaker: Zhangbu Xu (Kent State University)
