Description

We present a recent calculation of  the quark and gluon
gravitational form factors (GFFs) of the proton using a light-front
spectator
model based on soft-wall QCD. To calculate the gluon GFFs, we take the
active parton to be a gluon. The model parameters are determined by
fitting the unpolarized parton distribution functions.  Using these GFFs,
we compute the contribution of quark and gluons to the mechanical
properties of the proton, like  pressure, shear and mass distributions. We
compare our results with lattice calculations and other theoretical model
estimates.
