Description

We will host the 14th joint meeting of the Physics WGs and Software & Computing

We will begin the meeting with a reminder that we encourage a more interactive format, where we address topics submitted in advance. If you have any questions related to analysis, simulations, or software, please submit them using our form for consideration in future meetings.

We will then provide a preview of the Physics Readiness Workshop, which will take place on September 17 and 18. Following that, we will revisit the email on "Simulation Campaign for the preTDR," which was sent out on August 15, and review the deadlines for software releases and simulation productions.

We will conclude the meeting with a brief discussion on preparations for upcoming tutorials on getting started with physics analysis, as well as a short discussion on browsing physics plots that have been approved by the collaboration for public presentation.

We will use Zoom for the remote meeting:

        Simulation Production Requests 10m

The purpose of the table is to document and track simulation production requests made by the DSCs or PWGs. It serves two main functions: first, to maintain a record of what has been requested; and second, to indicate what is currently being requested or what is expected to be requested soon. The idea behind the table is to complement the list of available productions with a list of requested productions that can help with the planning and prioritisation (if needed) of future simulation campaigns. This table does not replace the standard request procedure, and is now a supplementary part of the request process.
