INTT Weekly meeting

US/Eastern
Description
[Aki: 1008 INTT status]
All the INTT commissioning data have been taken and DST file ready.
- Ryotaro and Tomoki can analyze the data for hit carry-over and half-entry issue.
Before changing the ADC threshold to DAC0=30 for the intt2 felix 9, 12, 13, we should check ADC distribution.
As a chip/channel mask policy, we shouldn't mask chip/channel unless
-- it hurts DAQ rate, or
-- it hurts data quality of other chips/channels
- Since we now understand that the "chip saturation" would occur when a lot of hits reach the limit of the number of hits that can be processed by Felix for some open_time, it is better to mask chip 15 and 17 on intt1 felix ch1 for now.
- And once Ryotaro analyze the data and there is no chip saturation problem with unmasked chip condition, we can unmask the chips again.
- Jaein will remove FPHX mask parameter for intt2 felix ch4, and intt6 felix ch1 chip10,11, then try to take data to see the chip status.
- Takahiro agree to the Joseph's format of the digital control parameters in the database
- Joseph will implement the script when we have a long down time, maybe next Maintenance day.
- Not to modify intt_ext.py but just refer function from intt_ext.py
- Akitomo will prepare a script to input mask information into daq database, hopefully by next maintenance day by referring to Joseph's code.

Discussion for hot channel masking policy 20m

Our current policy for online hot channel masking is based on assumption that hot channels can be handled during offline analysis, and therefore masking is not necessary as long as the DAQ is functioning properly.
