Minutes

  1. Announcements, Minutes from Previous Meeting, Action Items:
    1. Zisis reported that the GTLs met in person at ANL on January 26 and 27, to work on the overall Project Production Flow, with the logic of where things are made, where they are shipped to be assembled, etc.  Next step is to enter timetable details in the Merlin tool.  Once more mature the information will be circulated to all in order to discuss task assignment.
  2. Reports: 
      1. Maria reported on preparations for the upcoming Beam Test in Hall D.  Tentative dates are March 13-27, although beam is scheduled to arrived on March 16.  Maria and Zisis have been communicating with Hall D and JLab on this.  The coordinator has called for a meeting with all the contacts for all beam tests on February 6.  Maria and Zisis will attend this.
        1. Logistics: visas, user registration at JLab, training to access hall.  Details were sent via email by Maria.
        2. Planning: Mattermost and Asana tools are being used. 
        3. Hardware: the list is in Asana, and Maria has created a document that shows the planned configurations (min and desired).
        4. Objectives: readout commissioning, test new DAQ, understand response (AstroPix, SiPMs, HGCROC).
        5. Arrival: Maria expects to be there for set up on March 9.  Others will arrive early too (eg Norbert).
      2. Bobae summarized the status of the AstroPix tasks.
      3. The return of the Baby BCAL to JLab was briefly discussed.
  3. AOB: none
  4. Action Items: 
    1. Maria and Zisis will find out about getting a lab to work in.  Maria will investigate if the setup can be pointed upwards for cosmic set up.
    2. Zisis will: 
      1. check on the light guide manufacturer, and will update everyone on the arrival of Aram’s summing boards.
      2. contact the Hall D crew for installation help.
      3. get information on PS rates and magnetic field reconstruction software.
      4. Check whether the adaptor boards can be drop-shipped to ANL.
    3. Norbert expects the quote for the adaptor boards top reach Zisis soon. 
  5. Next meeting: Feb 10 with emphasis on electronics.
