      General Discussion
Speakers: Gregor Eberwein (MIT), Dr Grzegorz Deptuch (BNL), James Julian Glover (University of Birmingham (UK)), Dr Joachim Schambach (Oak Ridge National Laboratory), Md Arif Iqbal (Brookhaven National Laboratory), Stefano Caregari, Zhenyu Ye (Laurance Berkeley National Laboratory)

The SVT DSC has been asked to present our plans to the Electronics&DAQ WG. This is now planned for Thurs 5th March 2026 (was 19th Feb).

The main issues are to determine what our requirements for slow controls of the SVT towards the DAQ group are. Items that I would like to address:

      • Frequency of full threshold scans
      • Frequency of "partial" threshold scans to monitor changing thresholds
      • Frequency of Fake-Hit rate runs to determine noisy pixelsItems to monitor during runs
      • Necessity of configuration scrubbing due to radiation upsets
      • Bandwidth required for these various procedures (both for slow controls transactions as well as resulting data rates)
      • Duration of the various procedures (how to modify the jupyter notebook from the MOSAIX documentation in that regard)
      • Procedures necessary at every start-of-run / end-of-run
      • How to handle the generation of SYNC signals to delimit readout frames
      • etc....
