Experimental Computing

  • sPHENIX - Review held, waiting for report details
  • STAR - Isobar analysis completed - slots returned
  • CAD - HPSS storage, purchases cleared

IT Fabric

  • HPSS upgrade - tests done - scheduled maintenance
  • GPFS client update to be scheduled

IT Services

  • OTP self service completed
  • MFA app push setup - alternate way, similar to DUO
  • Mattermost email notifications to be enabled - global changes, but can be customized according to user preferences
  • NX - testing load balancing options - changes transparent to user
  • Results of user support survey - mostly satisfaction with current tool with some upgrades, Queue reorganization/granularity as needed. Statistics in which queues used mostly.

Tools and Services

  • Overleaf - web portal being created, licenses will be available, instructions on making requests and verifications
  • DocDB systems 5-6 yrs old, updates
  • Improving the SDCC website documentation
