Agenda:

The purpose of this meeting is to talk about the design work done on sPHENIX services routing and the on-detector VESDA system and as well what else needs to be done. This is an informal meeting, a space where we can show and tell. We will have a more formal review at some point after 4th of July. Here is the lineup for the meeting:

  1. On-Detector VESDA Pipe Routing - John
  2. Water & Gas Single Line Diagram (SLD) - Peter (Me)
  3. ECW & Off-Detector Water Pipe Routing - Dan Puleo
  4. On-Detector Water & Gas Pipe Routing - Roland

Meeting notes:

Water & Gas SLD

  1. There is a possibility that MVTX will get Dry Air
  2. MBD is not getting N2
  3. TPOT does not need N2
  4. No ODH concerns from N2. Calculations already done. Can pull from files if needed
  5. Does TPC diffuse laser need N2?

ECW & Off-Detector Water Pipe Routing

  1. Integrate EMCAL SiPM water pipe routes with ECW pipes & tray
  2. Change rigid pipes on slide 6 to flex line. Add supports as needed
  3. Have sections of flex line connect different sections of rigid pipe lines

On-Detector Water & Gas Pipe Routing

  1. New consolidated gas panel design and locations. 1 panel on the north on L1 near pole-tip door, 1 panel on the south on L1 near pole-tip door

On-Detector VESDA System

  1. North zone piping run needs to be integrated with new tray that has been installed in the IR
  2.  Need to find & source clamps to secure pipes to gussets between pole-tip doors and cradles
  3. Need to adjust north & south zone in-field as needed to accommodate EMCAL cooling panels in each corner on L1
  4. Slide 20 - hole locations need to be determined
