Speakers: Che Sum Tse (University of Birmingham UK), James Julian Glover (University of Birmingham (UK))

Birmingham's wire bonding on the LTU Al foils were reported at last week's ePIC SVT WP3 Electrical Interfaces Meeting, please see linked material in this contribution.

      • Things are looking promising.

Birmingham has also looked into bonding the next M-FPC.

      • Some imperfections with the new jig has slowed things down.
      • Work is ongoing.

      Other remarks

Status of Si dummies ordered by Oxford:

      • Si dummies have been removed from the film backing and boxed.
        • Some samples were placed in the GelPaks ordered (however, Massimo's group found these very sticky and worried the thin Si would be hard to remove). We will receive some sample to try this out.
        • The rest of the samples were placed into membrane boxes that Massimo's group are more familiar with (and recommend).
      • Arrangements are being made with Massimo to send these back from CERN (to Birmingham).
      • No ETA yet.
