INTT Weekly meeting

US/Eastern
Description

This is a memo from the last INTT meeting.

--  Schedule
  No summer break expected.

  The Travel schedule is updated.
The schedule table should be updated accordingly

-- Analysis tasks using new beam data in 2025
Tasks are listed in the table
  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/175Z06nDFWACKIrvqN_R43ABLtRfE6r23u9CZtVuwDHg/edit?gid=1538604329#gid=1538604329

People cover many topics. But some topics are still open. Need volunteers, especially people from outside of BNL.

-- Software comments:  Joseph
  - The way to implement is explained
  -  Implementation and checking will be started from now.
  - Takashi requested to make some slides to explain how the consistency of the output is checked.

-- Beam test analysis: ChengWei
  - The systematic uncertainty of the DAC scan is updated
    - Takashi and Genki asked about the choice of the normalization method, asymmetric systematic uncertainty,
how to fit the DAC histogram, and how to calculate the systematic uncertainty of the S/N from the DAC histogram.

    -  Discussion continues offline

  - The efficiency evaluation is updated.
    - The residual window is wider to cover the almost 100% efficiency region
    -  Y dependence of the efficiency shows the asymmetric uncertainty
    - Total efficiency is calculated using Ncounts, including all Y ranges.
        - not combine the Y dependent efficiencies to obtain the total eff.
