This topical meeting is centered on the RAG4EIC project — an initiative exploring Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to enhance scientific reasoning and user interaction for the EIC community.
The meeting will begin with a high-level presentation by Karthik Suresh (William & Mary), offering an overview of the project's scope and current status. This will be followed by an open discussion, where members of the working group may share insights or ongoing efforts related to:
Incorporating open-source LLMs into the RAG pipeline
Designing agent-based workflows based on RAG
We encourage all members of the EIC community with an interest in AI and language models to attend. If you would like to contribute a brief update or presentation related to this project, please contact us (cfanelli@wm.edu, support@eic.ai) — we will do our best to accommodate it in the agenda.
