A free guided tour of the city of Cosenza is offered on the evening of March 18, prior the Social dinner.
The guided tour will start at Piazza Bilotti, at 6:30PM.we will walk the promenade of Cosenza's main street, Corso Mazzini, home of the MAB open air museum.
We will reach the old town on foot (~1 km) where we stop for an optional artisan ice cream taste at the famous Antica Gelateria Zorro.
We will continue walking corso Telesio, main street of the old town till we reach the old Opera theater (Teatro Rendano).
The tour will end at the Duomo, the ancient Cathedral of the Assumption (Sec. XII), an authentic example of mixed Romanesque style with a gothic facade.
The venue for the social dinner is right besides the Cathedral. Dinner will start at 8:30PM
A shuttle bus will be provided for the both the tour and the subsequent social dinner.
