The organization of DIS 2027 is supported by the International Advisory Committee (IAC) and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC). Together, the two committees provide scientific guidance, continuity within the international DIS workshop series, and the organizational framework for the successful implementation of the meeting at Temple University in Philadelphia.
International Advisory Committee
The International Advisory Committee (IAC) provides scientific guidance for DIS 2027 and helps ensure continuity with the long-standing International Workshop on Deep Inelastic Scattering and Related Subjects. Its members represent the international deep-inelastic scattering and hadron-physics communities and bring broad expertise across the experimental and theoretical areas covered by the workshop.
The IAC advises the organizers on the scientific scope and program of the meeting and supports broad participation and representation of the international DIS community.
The International Advisory Committee is co-chaired by Aharon Levy and Paul Newman.

Local Organizing Committee
The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of DIS 2027 at Temple University in Philadelphia. Working closely with the International Advisory Committee, the LOC oversees the scientific and organizational preparation of the workshop and provides the local infrastructure necessary for the meeting.
The LOC coordinates the scientific program and sessions, conference facilities, registration and participant support, local logistics, communications, social events, and other aspects of the workshop organization.
The Local Organizing Committee is chaired by Bernd Surrow (Temple University) and includes colleagues from Temple University and partner institutions in the U.S. nuclear and particle physics community.
