- Announcements: Zisis reported that the GTLs are meeting (Jan 26 and 27) to come up with a high level plan for production, that will involve activities at all locations and assembly in integrations at some sites with final integration at BNL. Once these plans are a bit more advanced they will be circulated so that Korean and N. American teams can coordinate efficiently.
- Beam Tests:
- Maria and Zisis have been working on the Hall D parasitic beam test request. Questions will be sent to JLab to find out about registration and visas. The names of all people planning to come should be known very soon. A run plane needs to be developed. Any new boards should have the same form factor and cables, to work with the mechanical stand.
- Reports and updates:
- Jun Hyung presented slides on electronics boards tests at KNU (parallel voltage and serial signal, for example). A new hybrid board was ordered and should arrive soon. Maria asked about the global plan on boards and suggested that these activities should converge within our collaboration.
- Bo Gyeong presented slide on LG mixing and efficiency using Kuraray single clad fiber bundle for injection and examining the NAAD and efficiency. There are not a lot of differences between the different light guide designs and the numbers qualitatively agree with Tegan’s simulations.
- Tegan reported that similar tests in Regina will get underway soon.
- Wouter reported that he has reflow ovens and can help with SiPMs, and on the cooling we need to be able to test what the cooling does to the SiPM performance, in addition to cooling the amplifier board.
- The next meetings will be on February 3 (Hall D Beam Tests) and February 10 (Astropix, ETC, Manog and NASA).
