Minutes

1. Announcements, Minutes from Previous Meeting, Action Items:
1. Zisis reported there is a two-week delay in the startup at Hall D due to a magnet failure.  No further details are available yet on what impact will be on the schedule.  However, it was decided to stick with our original plans, of having the setup begin on March 23, as the best solution.  This was confirmed by Martin, Norbert and Hyon-suk.  Martin and Norbert said that they can return when the beam turns on for a shorter time to check everything. Aram and Halen will go later, closer to the start of the beam, to cover shifts with ANL people.  More information from Hall D should be available later today.
2. Reports: 
   1. Martin presented slides on the RCDAQ, AstroPix readout, network needs, and busy latch.  Overall things are in good shape, with some work needed on the AstroPix readout and busy latch.  
   2. Halen gave an update on the new Baby BCAL boards, and specifically the temperature measurements and air-cooling tunnel. Data will be sent to Wouter for cooling calculations.  Two shipments are being prepared: one will leave today to ANL (20 SiPMs, LGs, cookies, cables) and the second in two weeks to Hall D (new Baby BCAL boards and cables).

4. Action Items: 
1. Maria will investigate if the setup can be pointed upwards for cosmic set up.
2. Zisis will: get information on PS rates and magnetic field reconstruction software.
5. Next meeting: March 17, joint ESB/DAQ+System Testing. 

09:00 → 09:45 DAQ Discussion for Hall D Beam Tests

A discussion among Norbert, Martin and the rest of the team to confirm our plans for the Hall D tests. Setup starts on March 24, beam comes March 30. Update: two week delay, so beam comes around mid April.
