Update from Tonko
- New firmware compatible with both EICROC1 and EICROC0A ready by Monday/Tuesday.
- Adjustments to power board for compatibility with BTOF.
Update from Chiara and Dominique
- Work on both EICROC0 and EICROC0A --> slides next week.
- Characterization of EICROC0 + sensor with the laser, similar work with EICROC0A + sensor w/ TCT.
- Issues seen with EICROC0A, concerns about performance even separate from the metal fix issue.
- Discussions with Christophe et al. on-going.
Update from Jack
- Schematic is all but finalized, new updates in 1-2 weeks.
Update from Alex
- Test setups all working, progress on EICROC0A and EICROC1 testing.
- HPK flip-chip pulled apart, no obvious evidence of misaligned bumps -- seems to be oxidation on the pads which inhibited good contact of LGAD with bumps.
- Large AC-LGAD mounted onto FNAL/UCSC board, but sensor is damaged (extremely high current)
- G. Giacomini probed the sensor afterwards to confirm it was the sensor, and not the board.
- Will probe another sensor and try again.
- Mapped charge vs. DACu (pulser amplitude) on EICROC0A -- range is roughly double what it was for EICROC0 (~ 0.5 fC to ~ 64 fC of charge).
Update from Maya
- Showed first ADC and TDC results with charge injection after various bug fixes.
- Jitter levels out around 10-20ps for the various pixels and ADC appears linear, up until about 30 DACu (~ 31 fC) where the slope changes slightly.
- This is after Vref subtraction of 64 DACu (roughly -64mV), so we are not seeing saturation - ADC doesn't seem fully linear as the charge gets very high.
- Initial S-curves look pretty good - tested with 20fC, 15.5fC, and 6fC if injected charge.
