EIC Software Seminar: RICH simulations

The design and optimization of Cherenkov detectors requires a detailed simulation exercise. In the simulation of Cherenkov detectors, we often parametrize the Cherenkov photon generation. In our discussion, we would like to understand how we can improve our simulations and will discuss the role of validation and tuning (e.g., comparison with data from Cherenkov imaging detectors already in operation) as well as the possible role of reconstruction algorithms.
