Description

Repeat tutorial: Thu Feb 6, 9am, BlueJeans only, same BlueJeans connection. Agenda below.

The Electron-Ion Collider User Group (EICUG) is organizing an EIC Software Tutorial on Full Detector Simulation at BNL on Jan 29 2020, one of a series of software tutorials in support of the yellow report effort. The tutorial will cover Geant4 simulations of EIC detectors and will show how to modify existing detector concepts and how to integrate a new detector into one of the existing detector concepts. The tutorial will be just prior to the Jan 30-31 EIC detector R&D meeting at BNL. Remote access via BlueJeans will be possible.

Please register for the tutorial here via the Jan 9 tutorial indico page.

Recordings of the tutorials are available on the YouTube channel of the EICUG
