Streaming Readout Workshop SRO-XII

Final announcement

This is the final announcement for the 12th workshop on Streaming Readout 2024 (SRO XII), which will be held from December 2nd to 4th at the University of Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan. 

We would like to provide you with some practical information for SRO XII.

1. Workshop location 

This workshop will be held at Koshiba-hall from 12/2 to 12/3 and room #233 in Science building 1 on 12/4.

2. Zoom

3. Weather in Tokyo

According to the local weather forecast, Tokyo is expected to have sunny days during the workshop. 

Daily highs will be around 15°C, and lows around 7°C.

5. Registration 

If you attend the workshop in-person, we would like to ask you to pay the registration fee at the registration desk.

Only the cash (Japanese Yen, USD, Euro) is accepted. 

Registration fee is as follows.

- postdoc and staff members 

-- If you attend the banquet on the 2nd day, the registration fee is 7000 Yen/50 USD/50 Euro. 

-- If you do not attend the banquet, the fee is 2000 JPY/15 USD/15 Euro.

 

- students 

-- If you attend the banquet on the 2nd day, the registration fee is 5000 Yen/30 USD/30 Euro. 

-- If you do not attend the banquet, the fee is 2000 JPY/15 USD/15 Euro.

 

- If accompanied person joins the banquet, we will ask you to pay +4000 JPY/30 USD/30 Euro for the accompanied person. 

 

Lunch is not included. There are several cafeteria and restaurants in and around the University of Tokyo.

7. Poster Presentation 

On the 1st day, we will have a poster session and reception. 

Light meals (sushi, etc) and drinks will be served during the session. 

We will place poster boards during the lunch break of the 1st day.

 

8. Banquet 
The workshop dinner will take place on the 2nd day (Tuesday, December 3rd, from 19:00 to 21:00).
