Description

We present new results on 2- and 3-loop heavy flavor corrections
to polarized and unpolarized DIS.
This includes a consistent treatment of
$\gamma_5$ which enables the extension
of massive operator matrix elements and the variable flavor
number scheme to the polarized case.
