Plenary Sessions:
- In keeping with this being the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, not to mention the recent explosive growth in Quantum Computing and Quantum Information, the DNP is pleased to announce that the 2026 meeting plenary sessions will feature presentations on the unique contributions that nuclear physics is making to this field. Two presentations will cover theoretical progress, while the other two will focus on experimental contributions. Theoretical progress includes ways to use quantum computing for simulation of gauge fields as well as how nuclear physics is informing new quantum technologies. Experimental topics include using radioactive atoms as quantum sensors, and measurements of radiation hardness of quantum devices.
Invited Sessions:
- Each Invited Session consists of three 36 min invited presentations. The planned Invited Sessions for DNP 2026 are listed below and further details are given in the DNP schedule. More details coming soon!
