Plenary Session
The 2026 Plenary Session will explore the history of nuclear physics and how some of our subdisciplines emerged and coalesced over the last 100 years. What were the milestones, turning points that could have gone differently, and what are the stories we don't know? We will hear about how collider technology shaped our field, how electron scattering emerged as a field in its own right, the big landmarks in nuclear structure and astrophysics, and finally, the exciting ongoing journey of neutrino physics.
