Description

We invite you to register and submit an abstract for an oral presentation to the Fourth North American Charge Breeding (NACB'2024) Workshop to be held at the Collider-Accelerator Department at Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, New York on April 29th - 30th, 2024.

The goal of the NACB'2024 workshop is to foster collaborations and stimulate informal discussions between the different charge breeding groups in North America (EBIS/T and ECRIS) on multiple aspects of charge breeding with stable and rare isotopes.  Previous NACB workshops have demonstrated the need and the benefit of regular discussions about challenges of charge breeders and the operation of these devices.  We strongly encourage the attendance and participation of students to introduce them to the North American Charge Breeding community.

We hope that this workshop will provide an environment to identify common challenges and areas of research and development to improve performance of EBIS/T and ECRIS charge breeders, and to reduce the duplication of efforts among the institutions in North America.

Sincerely,

The NACB'2024 Organizing Committee
